The
moment you enter the small, coastal town of
Rowayton, the sense of community is apparent.
Overlooking the Five Mile River along a half-mile
stretch of Rowayton’s main street, the
Coastal Provisions partner businesses play significant
roles in the community as patrons of the arts,
sponsors of community organizations and events,
supporters of local schools, and social gathering
places for Rowayton residents.
Local
organizations and events that we support or
are members of include the Rowayton Civic Association,
the YWCA, the Center for Hope, OPUS Person-to-Person,
the Norwalk Seaport Association, SoundWaters,
Greenwich Hospital, Keystone House, Inc., the
Rowayton Power Squadron, The Outreach Fund,
The United Church of Rowayton, Shakespeare on
the Sound, and the Underground, Rowayton’s
youth center.
Coastal Provisions also supports the Norwalk
Public School System. This year we contributed
a percentage of one day’s sales to the
Norwalk Education Foundation’s “DineOut
for Education” program, sponsored the
Norwalk High School Spc. Wilfredo Perez, Jr.
Scholarship Fund, and made a donation to the
Norwalk High School Post Grad Party. |
